On 18 June 2010 in Istambul, Turkey, during the EUROCOTON General Assembly Mr Alois Schőnberger was elected the new EUROCOTON Vice President. (EUROCOTON - European Committte of the Cotton and Allied Textile Industries).

Mr Alois Schőnberger, well-known on global markets international cotton trader – Companies POLCOTTON, Poland & COTTONEX Anstalt, Lichtenstein - originally traded in Eastern European countries, nowadays focusing in Far East including Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Iran, China as well as Turkey

Connected with the Gdynia Cotton Association practically from the early beginning of his activity in the cotton sector – from 2004 he was elected to the position of the GCA Vice President of the Board.

From 2008 until today he works as a member of the Private Sector Advisory Panel (PSAP)at the International Cotton Adisory Committee in Washington, U.S.A..
