On the 11th of January 2008, The Board of Directors of the Gdynia Cotton Association elected the new President of the Board of Directors - Mr Marek Dominiak.

Mr Dominiak has been involved in cotton trade for 30 years.

He was born in 1955, graduated Economy Faculty in the Lodz University, in 1997.

Since 1991 he has been running his own company dealing with cotton trade. TEXIM Marek Dominiak Registered Partnership is the agent for the cotton trading companies such as: Weil Brothers & Stern, Societe D' Importation et de Commission, Pagysa SA as well as of Indian and Turkish companies trading cotton yarn and products.

During 1979 - 1991 Mr Dominiak worked in Textilimpex Co. Ltd. where he was responsible for imports of raw cotton and yarn to Poland. When working in Textilimpex he graduated the cotton classification course in the Gdynia Cotton Association. During 1987 - 1991 he represented Textilimpex's interests in India, organizing cotton fiber, yarn and other Indian textile products purchases.

He is a happy father of the wonderful daughter Agata.
