Natural Fibres - Their Attractiveness in Multidirectional Applications

The 10th International Cotton Conference will be held in Gdynia, Poland, since the 3rd to the 4th September 2009. The participants from all over the world are expected to take part in this important, bi-annual cotton event.
This international meeting will be dedicated to the exchange of experience among the scientific and research circles, industry and collaborating institutions relative to the cotton and textile sectors.
As the 2009 will be the International Year of Natural Fibres, we shall present the meaning of natural fibres in the modern world – their vital role in sustaining and supporting the developing countries, new applications and technologies of fibres' processing as well as the promotion of natural fibres' applications in the ecological style of life. We would like to undertake discussing the position of cottons - conventional, organic and biotechnological ones - in the world economy and its prospects for the future.
