The Court of Arbitration at the Gdynia Cotton Association has been existing since 1938. Its task is to settle disputes arising from the concluded contracts for sale-purchase of cotton, both domestic and international.

• Arbitrators judge in the technical disputes - where the controversies pertain to non-performance or malperformance of the clauses of contracts. They are specialists at law (civil, commercial, maritime, of transportation) and at transports, insurance, forwarding and economy.
• Arbitrators evaluate raw material (instrumentally and organoleptically) in cases when disputes arise on the basis of the quality differences between the quality in the contract and that of the physically delivered cotton. They are specialist - raw cotton experts, spinners and weavers.
• There are two instances of the Arbitration in the Gdynia Cotton Association.
• Detailed regulations pertaining to the procedures before the Court are contained in the "By-laws and Rules" of the GCA.
